CO-Awareness week

2011

Tony Brunton recaps on  the meetings

Which took place at, House of Lords. Kings Hall conference centre, Belfast. Borders College, Galashiels. South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue, Sheffield. Townhall Council Chambers, Liverpool.

In line with the comments made at each of the venues by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees on the recent Parliamentary Gas Safety Group report  from the enquiry chaired by Baroness Finlay, please find below a link to this report.
You will see from the content that the seventeen recommendations produced by the report are exactly in accord with those remedies we have been asking the 'powers that be' to put in place.
We would ask you to note the number of measures promoting personal safety, which have long been a requirement to enable employers involved to fulfill their 'duty of care' to their employee's.
